Right now I strum on a Ibanez Lonestar Series Model No. LE420BK. I've never seen such a guitar anywhere around, si I hope it is UNIQUE...
I mean: "so" I hope... Ah, yes, and I'm strummig "Handle me with Care" (by The Traveling Wilburys).
Electrics: 64 Fender mustang, 1985 Fender Japanese strat with single emg 81 humbucker, Fender Squire strat with 2 overwound humbuckers (10k neck & 14k bridge) refurbished and modified by me. series 10 jackson style dinky style copy,2 Custom made strats (made by me) Washburn A10, Silvertone & a soon a custom made SG copy with rockfield SWC pick ups (currently building).
Acoustics: Guild F45-CE with a B-Band UST & AST pickups & A2 preamp, Alvarez Yari Thin body and a Silvertone F hole guitar.
My old time favourite is still my PRS CUSTOM 24, followed by a "customised black beauty, year 1968", I replaced the humbuckers by P-94's, SUPER, but I am afraid that my ex-girlfriend, put the original humbuckers outside with the trash. They can always be found on websites.
ACOUSTIC: strange thing, some songs are better with a GIBSON, others with a MARTIN
I have several guitars but my favorite is my Taylor 710CE.This one has the Fishman pickup instead of the new Expression System but it still sounds great to me.Next one will be a Taylor T5!!
this is a very strange song request.
I have never heard of the song "what kind of guitar do you have"
who sings it? what year did it come out and could this not be in another ection of the forum?
Hi guys,
I have several guitars...
Gibson Les Paul Custom (build in '76)
Charvel/Jackson guitar model 6's
Classic guitar Takamine CP132SC
Yamaha 12 string APX 9-12
And still having my very first acoustic guitar Maxwin Western 6 string which I got from my mother about 27 years ago.
One advice: Never ever get rid of your guitar(s) (except if you'd starve to death!). I still find it hard to know that I onces owned several Fenders (USA), Ibanez and so on.
what sort of song request is this?
Plase keep to the subjects.
gibson S.G its sweeeet
I have several, two Ibanez IC300 (one signed by Paul Stanley himself), an Ace Frehley Epiphone Les Paul (trans black), a Slivertone PSSN2 and a Silvertone Monarch (the Silvertones are both designed by Paul Stanley) lastly an Ibanez AEG10 acoustic/electric with cutaway.
I'm more of a collector, if you can't guess that already, but have played over the past 4/5 years and am now getting really serious about it.
It doesn't really matter what you have just pick it up and play it.
my guitar trumphs all of your guitars
I have a white double neck fender straticaster
I have 4 guitars, My 1960`s Silvertone, styled after the Teisco Delray, solid body is my favorite, and I play it daily. My next favorite is a Gretsch Tenneseean Chet Atkins signature guitar built in the 60`s I think.
I have a Tanglewood TW 900 accoustic which has a nice full sound, hence the need for advice on the yamaha apx 900
my acoustic is a guild f-50 and my electric is a gibson lucille
My main squeeze is my Mex Strat, PJ. But I still aint got round ta buying me Acoustic yet. I did however rescue one from the landfill site and named her erm....PJ also. lol
Never heard of the make, but it does me too strum away on in the short term. It's a Gregg Bennet one. Anyone any ideas about it???
Craig.

I have a collection, but the ones I play the most are My Fender Coronado Antigua & Coronado Wildwood, and My Fender Jazzmaster, Fender Strat, Fender Tele, Fender Jaguar & G & L Skyhawk (Stratocaster Copy by Leo Fender). In Acoustic its my Ovation Baladeer Acoustic Electric & Guild 12 String. I played a Gibson 6/12 Double Neck for a few years. Beautiful Sound, but heavy & unbalanced. My primary Bass is a Fender Jazz Ash Body/Maple Fretboard. I feel more comfortable with the Fender necks than with most other guitars, but some of the Fender copies have great feeling necks & good sound for the money as long as they use solid wood bodies & good pickups. I use Fender, Kustom & Peavy Amps.
I have a Livingstone acoustic... not that anyone knows who that is. I bought it for $70 AUD at an Aldi supermarket. Not that I'm complaining. On my pocketmoney budget I can't complain. It's a bit bright sounding, but I love it.
