Topic: Witnessed an old friend marry today

It was cool.  Kind of short notice.  Guy's had a tough row to hoe.  It was nice to see that he found a woman who loves him as much as he loves her.  Both adults when they met, who know what it means to marry.  They really meant it when they took those vows.  It wasn't some pro forma performance. 

As the legal witness I even gave the bride away, even though I met her just this morning.  She was confident enough to know that part at least was pro forma and was not offended by it. 

Good people on a happy day.

I've got a buddy who has been through a couple of rough marriages and divorces and recently fell head over heels in love with his old high school girlfriend. Disgustingly public show of affection head over heels I'm telling ya (and busting his chops).

In reality, my buddy is a great guy and deserves every minute of happiness he can get. They recently married and I am very pleased that he is happy.

I wasn't at their wedding, but I know what you mean. Very nice indeed.
