Goals for 2011
1. No guitar purchases
2. Learn ten songs

Results
1.Bought/held/sold approximately 12 guitars
2. Learned maybe 1-2 songs

Conclusion
I've made guitar transactions a priority instead of playing them.

I'm not sad or mad about this as I had a lot of fun but I do need to reassess my goals.

Set your new goals a little differently this year.  Tell yourself you have to learn so many songs before you buy another guitar.  I tend to live by this somewhat.  When I figure I have gotten so much better at playing, (no real measurement here) I start looking to step up a notch on my next guitar.  I earn it, so to speak.  In my own mind any way.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

I think I will set up a Guitars Anonomous for people like nao,and see if I can make a few dollars.

Look at all the experience you've gained by handling so many diff guitars. I know nothing about diff brands, woods, etc.... So next year remember what you did this year and don't do it again. And you had fun so that's all that matters.
