Topic: Flamenco

Don't know why I thought about this today.

A while back my wife was watching one of her reality shows, she loves them. It was about rockstars and their wives. I don't know what it was called. I watched part of an episode because I like one of the stars in it, Steve Stevens. He is the guitar player for Billy Idol. Anyway, turns out that in his down time he is in a Flamenco band. It struck me kinda funny at first but then made sense. He's been playing rock for so long that maybe he needed a change and a new challenge.

No real point to my story, just popped in my head today and thought I'd share.

Keep Rockin!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Flamenco

In that same vein, Charo is one of the better flamenco players around.  She might be famous for being hot and funny, but she studied under Segovia and earned her bones on the guitar.

Someday we'll win this thing...

Jim Stafford is another excellent player who is known for his comedy. we had the pleasure of seeing him in person last summer.

When the Power of Love overcomes The Love of Power the world will be a better place.

Re: Flamenco

It would be awesome to be able to play like that but I just don't care for the sound. For me it's right under Mariachi music, I just can't take it.
