Topic: Have a songbook of 397 songs, I cannot open it.

I added a public songbook of 397 songs to My Songbook. Whenever I click on it in any browser I am taken back to my default songbook. In other words, I can't open this large songbook no matter what. Nor can I delete it because, as far as I can tell in the interface, you have to delete all songs before you can delete a book. Can't open the book, can't delete the songs, can't play the music. It's a vicious cycle.

Any help to open this oversized songbook or remove it is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. I am not sure what is happening dweebo but each songbook can only have 100 songs, then you start a new one.that may be why you are having a problem. As far as I know they do not limit the number of songbooks you may have.

It wasn't my songbook. It was created by someone else. I just added the entire songbook to my books. It had 397 songs to begin with. I could open it before I added it to my books.
I am aware of the 100 song limit for songbooks but some songbooks that were created before the limit was imposed are available.
So I guess it boils down to: how do I remove a songbook from my books if I cannot remove all of the songs in the songbook first?

Well if you can't open the songbook then there's no way I know of deleting songs or the book as you said.
So all your left with is an extra link to your default songbook with the wrong title. smile
I've imported a book with 365 songs which opens ok. so not sure why yours doesn't open.
I guess you might have to live with it.
You could drop an email to admin about it..
