Topic: OnSong GoodReader Download issue

Ok....made a cool sonbook with all the songs from my set list, but the files change on my Ipad when I travel away from my home. I have the neat and concise header on top of every page when Im home, but when I travel to my gig or rehearsal, the downloaded page turns to blue words. above and below the song. Also the pages dont all scroll like they are supposed to? Has anyone experienced this? I use the goodreader app to download the files, and OnSong for my set list to reference. Is the text not being read properly? What is the proper text in Chordie.com? Maybe I have to change my text encoding on the Goodreader app to read the text properly....but then wht does it change if its downloaded already? There must be a simple solution. Wi-fi is turned off. I thought all the files are downloaded into the ipad....so why does the files change, just when I travel. This makes no sence to me at all. So please help if anyone knows the solution. Thankyou! Cj

hi cj i'm wondering if you are downloading from songwriting pages these songs are formatted and may not be compattable with your i pad,maybe you'll have to type the songs in ordinary text in notepad then download them,i'm not up with all this technology but this is how i'm looking at this.......stay cool

Daddycool, for your info the songs in the Songwriting section are formatted the same as those that are trawled from the internet.

idbrn4u, not owning or even desiring an ipad I have no idea how to advise you but if no one else offers help, please drop a line to admin@chordie.com explaining your problem.

If I understand correctly, you are trying to get the songs from here to IPAD?  If that is so, then you probably have to change them to Chopro format them copy and paste to IPAD.  Or save all the chopro songs by name in a different diectory and copy them all at once to the IPAD.
