hi dino, thanks for the review, yes i have recorded it and will put it on my space shortly. i tried to inject a bit of humour into the song. as you may have noticed, it was written in 3 sessions. the verses first, then the melody, then as i was recording i felt there was something missing, so i slapped in the chorus. i was feeling less jokey at that time so it's more depressed, i think.

A fine interpretation of the "Familiarity Breeds Contempt" syndrome that occurs in most long term love relationships.
So tragic that some feel compelled to degrade and humiliate a life long love partner although some of the abuse may well be deserved.

We pronounce it "Guf Coast".
Ya'll wanna go down to the Guf?

hi toots, just had to add that this song is maily fiction, though i do know several couples that inspired some of the lyrics. and of course some of it is guilt...

hi phill i read the lyrics and was half expecting a corny cheeky ballad sound,then when i listened it was a beautiful country type sound,well done...stay cool

Nice one Phill, mind you it took me ages to find out how to hear it on 'soundclick' but it was worth it great recording and song obviously written especially for me. smile
