Topic: Recorded a cover of The Cure hit "Just Like Heaven" last night

Amazing! I know how to play 6 chords!...lol...pardon the attire
but I spent all day at the beach and had an impulse to record
this so I recorded it on the spot. Didn't feel like doing it over.
When it comes to cover songs I don't like to waste time rehearsing
and trying to do them better because when all is said and done it's
just another cover song.
I tend to play a cover when the mood strikes and then move on.

Well done.  I have decided that is also how I do it.  I just get an itch and record it, with mistakes and all.

I have come to view cover songs as practice or just exercise to keep in shape.
My main focus has been writing original songs which I put more effort into.
