Topic: iPad vs Galaxy

I've been searching nthis forum and I can't find anything posted recently about comparing iPads and Galaxy tablets. I am in the market for a new tablet and it's difficult finding reviews specifically for tablets and their use for music. Does anyone have any recomendations about what is a good tablet to use for music stuff?

I think they are both great tablets, I am probably going to get an IPAD myself.  Lots of music apps.  It's just a little better product, in my opinion, but I don't think you can go wrong with either one.  Good luck.

Hello pfalcon. I can not comment on the Galaxy but I do have an Ipad and it works a treat for me, very happy. I travel a lot with my work so my guitar or mandolin and Ipad are perfect companians. Chordie access on my Ipad is brilliant now that a lot of the bugs have been sorted out. Many thanks to Admin.

Thanks for all the advice. I ended up getting the Galaxy since it is the same OS as my phone and I don't particularity like the Apple propitararty software. Google is open source. Now I think I'll see if there is an app thread.
