Topic: Help me write a song

I wrote a song for my girlfriend,lyrics really ,but no music. Her birthday is on Halloween and I would love to surprise her by singing it for her. I am a beginner guitar player so no (F) OR (B) chords. here are the lyrics and I am open to any and all suggestions. Keep in mind that although I have been married Denise has made me feel loved for the first time in my life. here is a picture of her and I.

Maybe you can try using D, A, and G chords with your lyrics above. These are pretty easy chords to play, and there are many songs written that use these. What do you think? Play with the chords and see where they fit best for you. Good luck.

Here are some chords that are easy and will fit to your lyrics. All chords shown are four beats unless marked with 2 for two beats. (Ignore the chords shown a C2 and G2 play a normal C and G)

Tommydone, there is a problem with the e.mail address you have shown on Chordie. I had tried to send you a backing track to help you with the timing and strumming but the 'Mailer-Daemon' states it has given up trying to deliver it.

If you are using the chords I gave you then start very simply, 2 down strums where the is a 2 against the chord and 4 for all the other chords. When you get familiar with it then you can put in some up strokes and/or double strumming to make it more interesting.
