Hi can anyone out there link me to a song book of ww2 songs or wartime songs with chords , it would be nice if it was a free public song book??? have to do a gig with war theme. hope you can help.

Well, since it doesn't look like anyone's found an entire songbook of them for you, here's one that I know... and it was often sang to me as a lullabye (by my vietnam era Dad... who's mother sang it to him)

There's a list of songs here... though I think only lyrics are on the site, and I've no clue how accurate this list is... but perhaps it will give you a place to start to begin looking for chords?  Good luck!

Hi puked,if you go too the m on the artist pages hit it and go through the list you will get to misc songs ,and they have some things from movies commericals,tv shows etc. Seems most of the songs from that era were Big band, Benny goodman,Tommy Dorsey Etc. you may be better off doing the Viet Nam Era.
