Topic: Iphone Apps

Hello Everyone!!!

I'm new to guitar playing, finally try to be serious with teaching myself at the age of 28 smile  I wanted to know what someone thoughts were on iphone apps for guitar, are there any that you recommend. I do have a lot of books, and I downloaded an app called ChordBank.  Has anyone heard of it?  Thanks for any help smile

Re: Iphone Apps

For learning chords, songs, or music theory?

Re: Iphone Apps

Any app is okay, thanks for responding smile

Re: Iphone Apps

New guitarist myself.  Chords = Chordmaster.  Tuning = TunerTool.  MySongbook app = links to Chordie for song chords.  Also use iPractice for practice moving between chords.  Good luck and enjoy.

Re: Iphone Apps

Not sure if these are available for iphone but I have them on my droidx and they are great.
Guitar tapps for chords and tabs with play along how tos.
gstrings for tuning and metronome.

Re: Iphone Apps

thanks everyone for the help, I'm going to look at them now smile

Re: Iphone Apps

I have chordie on my iTouch 4G, also have ultimate guitar tabs, ultimate guitar tab tools (chord finder, tuner, etc.) My touch is jailbroken i should mention so if your iPhone is not jailbroken you will have to pay for UGT, and the tools. Another cool app is Songwriters Pad, it's basically a pad where if you have ideas for a song you can write em down in either the verse section or  chorus section it also has words to help you ryhme other words to. check it out!!! chordie is great to have especially if you have song books you can sit outside and reference your song books if you forget a chord or 2 to a song!! Laters I'll keep looking for music apps!!!
