What do you do? Jogging? Biking? High impact or low? Try swimming. Last thought: Cheat a bit every now and then.
Body fat percentage? No idea. Something less than 150%, I'd think.
How do I feel / energy? I feel pretty good most of the time. With the reduction of booze and increase of water, I am sleeping much more soundly, which has lead to feeling better overall. Also, over the winter I think I was suffering some minor symptoms of depression. With the increased activity levels, I am also regaining interest in the things I enjoy doing (which is mostly fishing and puttering around the house, but they're things I like). To be clear because it's come up several times, my prior consumption of booze was not excessive. I was honest with my doctor about what, how much, and when I imbibe and he thought it was fine.
What is my daily caloric intake? No idea. My wife has a food scale and she logs everything for carbs, grams of fiber, and calories. Perhaps I will ask her to teach me how. I tried using several Google food calculators and found myself extremely frustrated with them. They were flat-out annoying in their interface, and frequently did not include very normal things that I eat and did include things that it seems no one would eat.
What do I do? For exercise, I walk/hike and use a Total Gym. I have tuned up my bike and gotten in a few rides, which have demonstrated how terribly out of condition I am despite what is now well over a year's worth of conditioning. I know how to swim. Given my paddling and fishing hobbies, being able to swim aggressively in turbulent water for several hundred yards is a safety issue. Otherwise, I absolutely abhor swimming. It is a good exercise. But I find it dreadful. My children love it and so it is impossible for me to go to the pool and actually exercise. I have to watch my children because they are not old enough yet to permit them to swim unattended (despite the eldest being better at it than am I).
I'm not sure if that enlightens you, but I hated to see the questions left unanswered when you've taken so much time, effort, and thought to try and help.
If I ate until I did not feel hungry, I'm afraid there would be a sudden and terrible shortage of pepperoni pizza in the tri-state area of Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. It's a bit like a tall tale to see me eat when I am trying to satisfy my Appetite. The capitalization is correct, in that my Appetite has taken on a legendary status within its own mythos.
