Topic: Delete a songbook
How do I delete a songbook? I've imported a book, and now I cannot delete it, or any of my own books for that matter.

Hi mike welcome to chordie,If you go to the very bottom of your songbook you can delete all your songs or just the selected ones. go back to your book and try it.

Go to the songbook you want to delete at the bottom of the page you will see tab which says "select all" hit it and ticks will appear in all the boxes next to the songs. Then hit the "delete" button this will delete all the songs from the book. Then you will be able to delete the songbook itself. I just tried it and it worked for me.

Wow you guys are fast..and accurate. Well I just went back and tried your suggestions and was successful. The one observation however, which was my origianal problem, was that I found that the 'Delete Songbook" option only appears once after you delete the last song in a songbook. If you do not take the option then, once you return to the songbook the option no longer appears.
The way I was able to get around the above was to 1) copy a song to an already empty book, 2) (select all) delete the song(s) 3) accept the option to delete the songbook.

Interesting! I have never deleted more than 3 songs. and I never went back too check the area at the bottom.
