Topic: download

Can anyone tell me how I can download my songbook so I can "see" it when I can not get the Internet?

Re: download

No, but if you find out come back and tell us.  That would be great.  Usually I just print mine out and stick them in a folder to see them off line.  Not very high tech though.

Thanks, but I wasn't trying to be.  That's what I really do.

Re: download

I am with Zurf 100%.

Carrying a piece of paper around is a darn sight easier and more convenient than lugging a PC or laptop around to see your music.

Re: download

well... you could attempt to print it and then print to a PDF file I suppose.  Then you'd have it saved on your computer as a PDF.  I like my binder with printed music much better though.  In fact, there's more in there than there is in "my songbook".  When I find something I like I just print it straight away rather than save it for later.  Then it gets hole punched, and put in the binder for later.  Sometimes I forget I've put songs in there, but every few weeks I just go through the entire binder trying to play everything in it and come back across some that I've saved in there.  I don't generally feel that my guitar and laptop get along that well.  smile

I do the same thing, MKM. Had to get a bigger binder now that my list approaches 400 tunes. I have separations for "food music" (stuff I need for paying gigs) and "mood music" (fun tunes I like) as well as a "need to practice" file.

We pronounce it "Guf Coast".
