Topic: Open Sea

I wrote this song last night and this morning, a idea that stayed overnight.

The progression runs G-D- Em- C, each progression for two lines.

Are you the wind/ Are you for real/
Are you the hurricane in my heart that I feel

Is this the time/ Is this the place
Is this the love story I could never erase/

CHORUS
I was waiting/ for the winds to blow
So you and me could ride the waves
I was waiting/ for the lights to glow
So you and me could see what we had saved

So this is how/ the story goes/
when a heart is just too broken to know/

This is the song/ the stars will sing/
As they watch you wish away your everything

I threw my flowers to the open sky
and now they're floating in the open sea
