Topic: Taylor "Big Baby"

Just bought one of these sweet guitars and I love it. Great sound and nice action for around  $400.00, and it has a full ebony fretboard! Anyone else have a chance to check out this guitar?

Re: Taylor "Big Baby"

I have played them, and I say If it's a Taylor, you can't go wrong. Great guitars.

Good for you soyboy.  It's always exciting to get a new guitar that sounds like you want it to.

I have finally found happiness in my life.  Guitars, singing, beer and camping.  And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Re: Taylor "Big Baby"

Those are good guitars.  Very good for beginners too in that the 15/16 size makes for a low action and not as much of a stretch at the frets near the nut.

Happy NGD! Enjoy. Anyone mentioned photographs are customary?

Re: Taylor "Big Baby"

My friend, John Reno bought one and plays it professionally. He has to fly to gigs often and the "Big Baby" in a soft case will just fit in the overhead bin.
He also bought a Bose personal P.A. system (load it in with just one trip). The guitar sounds great through his new rig. I played it and like the action. The sound is comparable to his two full-size Taylors.
