Re: It Arrived
Yes, you will get over over it soon. Martins will do that to you.
I have finally found happiness in my life. Guitars, singing, beer and camping. And they all intertwine wonderfully.

Congratulations, Pete.
She's a beauty and has the sound you were looking for.
A very successful purchase. May we anticipate a sound recording in the near future? We can only hope.

Happy NGD!! She's stunning
SWEEEEEET!!!
Yes, I need to get it together and get a camera and video some songs. Thats next, but it may be awhile.
BEEE-UTIFUL! I'm sure she sounds as good as she looks. Name her yet?
No name. I'm thinking though. Waiting for it to hit me.
SWEEEET choice, Pete. Martin don't make no duds. That sunburst is spectacular.
Name suggestion: Camille. A bit vintage, but sexy.
Martins will do that to you.
Dang right they will. Taylor is a fine instrument, but there is a reason why Martins have been around since 1833.
I'm admittedly biased (check my avatar and my signature lines), but to me there's no comparison. Martin just exudes class IMO.
Right on Pete! She is a beauty. I really like color choice and you can't go wrong
with a Martin. Have fun with your new friend. Oh-and the curves on that pin-
up calendar! Mike
Wheres the like button on this thing? Oh wait this aint facebook. Way to go pete!!
I was wondering if you have had much sleep since you got her pete?
Your'e a lucky man Pete, beautiful guitar. I would have a Martin in a flash but the price of them here in Aus. is way over the top for this old hack.
All the best
Bushy
I've never seen a sunburst Martin before - that is one prized piece.
Congrats.
Schweeeeeet!!!
Now that you've had it a few days and it's now an old guitar, can I be borrowing it? Just asking, LOL Congrats!!!
cj, since I prefer dreadnoughts, the bigger ones, I probably can't help you, but there are plenty of the smaller size Martins, which are really great sounding. Check out this site and read through it. That will give you a lot of great ideas on wehat to look at.

All I can tell you, is, I love the sound of a Martin. A bit expensive, but once you own one, you will want more.
Butch, I'm glad you asked that. No!
Congratulations on your new guitar!!! Looks awesome!!
Thanks guys. It sounds really good, too. Can't keep my fingers off it.
can I borrow it after Butch?
Like!
Sharp guitar. A friend let me play his Martin a/e in church last week. Sweet. Is Iowa too far away to come over and borrow yours? Seriously, have fun.
No name. I'm thinking though. Waiting for it to hit me.
look's like a "brownie" to me, very nice.
badeye
I'm gonna get one too, just cuz I need the calendar. NOT.
good luck with it,
Yeah, I probably wouldn't have purchased the Martin had it not been for the calendar. What a deal.
