Topic: The way back machine

I was checking out the Chordie top 100 and saw 2 songs from my highschool days. Bluer than Blue was one of them and Always and Forever was the other. Its funny how just reading a song title can make you remember moments that happend many MANY years ago like they were yesterday.

I have all but blocked out memories of high school.  But good for you.  I remember those songs, but no memories of things that happened while they were playing.

Granted B chord amnesty by King of the Mutants (Long live the king).

Re: The way back machine

Thats the beauty of a song Jeff.....it links the senses and emotions of a time. I love that....loads of songs get me that way. Good and bad!

A strange one for me is Born Slippy by Underworld. Proper dance track from the movie Trainspotting (most famously anyway). Never has such a high tempo tune made me feel more melancholy. Conversely, there are loads of slower songs that I find uplifting....generally because of what I subconciously link them with.

Amazing stuff this music nonsense...

All I got, is a red guitar, three chords and the truth
