Topic: Gene's songs

Hello,
I'm looking for an accurate (not strictly) tablature of this song: Your Love, It Lies - Gene. I noticed that there isn't here.

Could anyone put it up or give any suggestion to me?

Regards.

Hi Mickey, I did a search online and couldn't find anything but lyrics.  Perhaps another member will jump in and try to help out.  Do you have a link to a video by chance that might help?  Thanks!  And, WELCOME TO CHORDIE!  smile

Art and beauty are in the eyes of the beholder.
What constitutes excellent music is in the ears of the listener.

Hi mickyo,

They are playing this song in F# with an electric guitar. This is hard on acoustic guitar. if you're using an acoustic, you may want to place a capo just below the sixth fret. Then you can use open chord shapes in the key of C. I will give you chord shapes in C:
C, E minor, A minor - repeat until the lyric "wanting" then play F then G.
Go back to C, E minor, A minor, and at "wanting do F and G (this time eighth note power chords).
Like a bridge here, Am, Bb  (bring your pinky down on the second string one fret above your 3rd (ring) finger to make B suspended) then F and G.
Back to verse chords, C. Em, Am (you know what to do at "wanting")
They do bridge chords twice.
He takes a slug of his beer and the lead guitar rides over Gm, C and F (twice). The ride ends with FFFF GG.
Repeat bridge chords twice, then C, Em, Am F,G C.
Boogie 'til you puke,
toots

We pronounce it "Guf Coast".
Ya'll wanna go down to the Guf?
