Topic: Is there anything for bass guitar?

Hi guys, this is my first posting, so please excuse if I have missed the section. I was told that this site would help me to download chords for electric bass, but I cannot see any references to bass guitar? Am I missing something.  Thanking you in advance.

Re: Is there anything for bass guitar?

Thanks daddycool, I know about the site, and have looked at many others about using bass chords as well as rifts. I was told by someone that I should be able to find bass notes and chords on this site, but all I can find is for lead and rhythm guitar, so I have now downloaded some and fitted the bass around the chords. Not being able to read music as such, but have a very good ear and can transpose up or down depending on what people want. Thanks anyway.

Re: Is there anything for bass guitar?

There is no difference between a bass chord and a guitar chord, other than the missing two strings on the bass.  They're tuned identically.

Someday we'll win this thing...

Re: Is there anything for bass guitar?

Can someone help me with playing the bass lines to the Shadows number NIVRAM, please?
Either TAB or conventional music notation will do me fine.
Thanks a lot.
