Topic: Posting of Songs
I've just read that we cannot post songs chords.
Does that even mean I cannot propose a song already posted but with faulty chords ?

the posting of copyrighted material in any forum on Chordie is prohibited if the song is incorrect it cannot be edited as this feature was removed due to issues of copyright infringement lastly Chordie dose not host songs it is a search engine all the songs are from other sites Chordie finds them.The only forum that a song can be displayed is in the songwriting forum and it has to be an original work.

Russell is correct, however you can suggest songs be added to the chordie index via the below link. The songs must be hosted on some other site.

Hello Eric,
Further to the replies from Russ and Jeff. If the chords to a song is not correct you can write to the hosting site or the interpreter of the song with your suggestion of corrections.
The hosting site is shown in the 'Important Information' at the top of the song and you can either suggest the correction/s or offer the complete correct version of the song from yourself.
The author of the song interpretation will sometimes leave his/her e-mail address within the text of the song.
