Topic: Fingers for two chords

I've been messing with the song "Georgia on my mind" the most of the chords are simple enough except two, that being   Bdim/E I'm guessing thats just a Bdim with an open E string, though maybe someone can confirm that for me. The other chord is D6b9  I can't find a fingering for that one at all, keep in mind that this is Willie's Nelson's version and I know Willie is Willie and well, Willie is Willie. Heres the link to the song on Chordie, if nothing else I can just leave those two chords out and it still works for me but if I could figure them out then why not, thanks for any help guys.

Re: Fingers for two chords

Bdim/E  I like to substitute a diminished chord with the dominant 7th a major third beneath it, omitting root notes. The notes in a Bdim are B D F Ab. Looks a bit like a G7alt, right? (The notes in a G7 are G B D F) . You can play the Bdim/E as a G7 barre chord with a low e root. Also don't play the high e string or use your pinky to fret the Ab on the high e string:
e  x or 4
b  3
g  4
d  3
a  5
e  0

D6b9 I would play as follows:
e  5
b  4
g  4
d  4
a  5
e  x

All that said, the reason Georgia sounds cool with all these funky chords is the voice leading, so if you are just trying to drop in and out of these chords without the correct motion it will probably sound goofy.

Cam on the word "Tenderly" you can play G for two beats and this xx2323 for the Bdim/E chord for two beats the E is on the 4 string 2nd fret it works smile
