Guitar chord forum - chordie → Acoustic → male or female
It's great finding out where everyone is from, but what is the ratio of men to women, or lads to lasses on this site. I'm a girlie, a bit older than that actually, I am 41, and started playing about 18 months ago. Am completely addicted. I only know one other female player, 99% of my guitarist maties are male......mmmmmmm. Be interesting to find out ...........
Well I'm a man, or a Laddie if ye prefer. 
I think there is quite a few female guitarists using this site.

There seems to be a wee bit of a celtic mist hanging over chordie. Quite a few celts on here. I'm a laddie but have been known to wear the kilt now and then. Get's you in touch with your hairy arsed female side. LOL.

Happy B-Day Pactrick. We had an unexpected Kitchen jam last nite. Couple buddies and their gals showed up and of course the guitars come out and away we go. Did a lot of Bealtes tunes last nite.What a Blast.

Hope you had a good time. Next year you should hire Badeye for entertainment. He is worth the expense, he will play till the wee hours or sunrise, depending how long the beer lasts. He also brings along a busload of eastcoasters that could start a party in a convent!

Well a big Hello Boxer....I am also female and have you beat by two things....I am older...45 and I have been playing for 2 years in July hahaha.....I have several female friends that all are learning with less than 2 years.....we are having a ball and are also addicted. We play nearly every weekend....I just bought new strings today and hope to put them on when I get home :-) Keep playing girlfriend!
