Topic: new guitar?

Was browsing a local ad website and came across an ad that said simply "nice geetar" ( actual spelling used) Curious I clicked on it and saw a picture of a pignose strat copy. Some of you may remember my post on these guitars. They have a built in amp and speaker and the hardest ones to find are the strat style. What really hooked me was the price-$25.00. Yeah twenty five bucks. I called and talked to the owner and he said he has had this about four years and had always intended to learn how to play it but somehow it never happened. So after getting directions I'll be heading up his way today to check it out. Hopefully it's not a piece of junk but with a price tag that low who knows. I'll update this when I get back and see if it's new guitar day

Went and checked out this very cheap axe and was surprised. This guitar actually played pretty well and will be even better with new strings and some adjustments. The amp feature is very basic with only volume and tone control but has a very clean sound. So I flipped the guy his twentyfive bucks and brought it home. The wife thinks I didn't need it ( and I probably didn't) but I couldn't pass it by. I'm going to try and expand my limited computer skills and use my wife's digital camera and try to put some pics of this and the it's brothers on here. Now according to my wife I owe her something new or at least dinner out(she insists that it not be a fast food place- what's up with that) Anyhow it's NGD

My wife usually insists on a new outfit or shoes after I buy something as well smile

She knows that I've been browsing around for a possible new guit myself and I've already spotted her a few times shopping around online for some new brown leather boots that she "NEEDS" for this winter smile 
Better not say much though or she'll throw back how much I "NEED" a new guitar big_smile

Happy NGD!!! For $25 you can't go wrong. Almost any guitar is worth that. Even if you had to sell it right away you could make a few bucks on it. Nice find!!!!
