Topic: It's Too Late help

Hello - first post here. I am trying to play the song "It's Too Late" by Carole King. I have transposed it to Em7, a 4th down I think. I have most all the chords but can't quite seem to get the 1st 6 chords of the instrumental, mostly "do-do-doo" vocals.  the chords for the sax solo and the guitar are the same as the first two verse chords. If anyone knows them in the original key that's fine I can tranpose them down.

I think they have been written as : Gm7 - Cmaj7 - D7sus - D7 - Fmaj7 - cmaj7 but I don't think those are correct.
thanks in advance

Re: It's Too Late help

Hi ttunez welcome to Chordie

I found a suggestion on tabs heaven that the chords for the instrunemtal should have been (Cmaj7] [Fmaj7] [Bbmaj7] [Am7] [Bbmaj7] [Fmaj7] [Dm7] [E7sus4] [E7]) in the original key.  Don't know if this helps - obviously you will need to transpose these.

Hi ttunez, if you go to the acoustic forum there is a sticky for cord conversions (green) this will be a great help. Lots of luck
