Topic: Correct Songs Part two

I understand it is a nice feature to correct the songs, but you should not allow anyone to effect the original..


The problem with this is that there are certain people that will really screw up good songs , purposely or by accident.


Has anyone been on the Jamorama Forum ? It is being inodated with Non Musicians and they are putting Porn sites and Advertising ring tones, and all kinds of nonsense.


Lets keep the suggestion box open, but not allow the changing of songs .... Please reconsider this open policy..

I am continually evaluating whether the rules for changing songs should be more strict. I might change my mind when any abuse is discovered. So far, no abuse is reported.


Note:

* Only registered users can change songs.

* Any abuse will result in blocked domain and deleted account

* The original is NEVER altered. There is always a link to the original song. This makes finding errors/abuse very easy.


...about the Jamorama forum... I can't find what you are talking about. Could you please send an url to the page where you are seeing this?

If you click on some of the topics, within the responses, etc. you will see Advertising Ring tones and Porn Pics, etc. It's not Jamorama's fault, because this forum is open to anyone, but that was my point regarding the open editing approach, to many people out there with this type of mentality.
