I've been playing DiAddario XLs for 20 years.  I tried GFS, Fender, Gibson, Black Diamond, etc., but I'll stick to my XL130s. <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif" border=0 alt="Smile">

I like Ernie Ball Super Slinkys. I have used them for years, you can get a good bend out of them.

Strings and string gauge are a matter of preference you have to try them all until you find the ones that hold their tone for you longer. I've tried all the brands above except the black diamonds.
I'll usually reach for a set of DR's, Dean Markleys or Di Addario's in no particular order. Play them all, keep a list of each brands and write down your likes & dislikes. Then make your choice.

i have only used diadaro for my little kiddies guitar with a built in amp and after about 6 months they started to break. That might not be a bad thing i havent used anything but them and i only used em once cause my guitar needs new strings
