        If anyone knows how 2 do this can you please tell me because im being shouted at by my band because i cant do it lol! any hints would be appreciated.

Hey there cragh,


If you're talking about what i think you are, then i can help. Would an example of what you're looking for be in any particular song? the "pick sliding" i have in mind is the bit near the beginning of Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train. If thats what you're thinking of, its real easy.


Take your pick, and hold it at an angle to the string, then press down on the string. This should be above the pickups. Then, just drag the pick down and up the neck of the guitar, and if you're using distortion it should give you a kind of whine sound.
