John Hiatt--Crossing Muddy Waters.
The wife nagging my daughter. Domestic bliss.
In my single wide;(house)
Bubba the Love Sponge on Sirius Satellite Radio. Ned RULES!!!!!!!!
In my truck;
Eric Clapton and JJ Cale-"Road To Escondido"
the din of traffic passing my window but not for long gonna put some tunes on and jam along
JJ Cale--"After Midnight", the original and best version of the song. He was a big inspiration to Eric Clapton. It was great to see Eric Clapton give JJ Cale his due and their recent collaboration was awesome, to say the least!
Better class of losers--Randy Travis. I'm not a big country fan, but, I love this tune!
Launchcast streaming on my own "radio" station. Right now it's playing CCR, I Hoid It Tzrue Deh Grapevine
Bright Eyes and Modest Mouse...can't get enough
The New Ben Harper CD "Lifeline"
Bluegrass.....Seldom Scene "Some Morning Soon"
Little Wing by Hendrix at the moment... Trying to work out an acoustic arrangement for it.
Found a Brit band called The Twang on MySpace Music . . .

Also, another MySpace Music find from Britain . . . Hex is an acapella trio that sings old sea shantys and traditional ballads. Very powerful stuff!

Damn right I got the blues by Buddy Guy, some B.B. King and some Freddie King. Lovin the blues.

I heard a bluegrass version of the Stones, "Start me up" and it is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! I can't wait to see what you come up with. <grin> I may try an acoustic version of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell". ; )

I am in awe at such creativity! That was awesome! As Duke Ellington once said: "If it sounds good. it IS good."
And that was good. For a person of my eclectic tastes that was true musicianship!
Glad you enjoyed it ozymandias. Hope you checked out some other Hayseed Dixie tunes - Those guys aren't a joke. There is real talent there for sure!
Yes I checked out their other stuff. I agree it takes talent to do that.
Me??? no idea im gona put on ummmmmmmm INXS who likes them? :-)
SouthPaw ... Gotta love Bubba the Love Sponge! ... haven't heard him since I last lived in Florida Even better than Howard Stern!

Yeah, he's even funnier and way more obnoxious now that he's on satelite radio. (Howard 101) They keep me in a state of belly achin' laughter. Bubba and the boys are actually doing 2 shows; One on 102.5 FM morning radio( Tampa and Jacksonville 6-10am, mon-fri) and the Sirius evening drive(3-7pm mon-thur., 10-2pm on friday)
BUBBA ARMY in the Hizzy!!!
Yeah, Stern's gotten soft and spoiled by his money. He used to be real and funny but now-a-days he's a high society snob with a piss poor work ethic. My old radio friend of so many years has abandoned his loyal fans. (boo-hoo) No need to fret though, as you said, Bubba is better!
Hooked on this song at the moment!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikzQmC3S-mE "Got to be True To Myself" Excellent song! Just found it yesterday and worked out the guitar this morning. It's easy to play but I'll be listening to it all day to get the lyrics timed correctly and memorized! C#, G#, A#m, F# All the way through with a little riff in the chorus between the G# & A#m that goes like this...
E ---1-4---2-1------------
A -4-------------4---------
Right now I'm listening to a C D called "People Get Ready" by
Sonny Terry and Brownie Maghee. Great blues to work around the house with. The dishes are dun dude.
hee hee.. Badeye
