Topic: Got Better!!!

I started playing guitar back in August 2007(accoustic). I was proud of the progress I was making. Then 2 weeks ago I bought an electric and been having the time of my life. Iknow I'm still a newbie, but do most people imrove dramatically like I feel Ive done after playng on an electric? I mean it really improved my acoustic playing alot. Sound normal? Also it seems much easier to play the electric,more comfortable I mean. By the way Im 42.

Yea . . . electrics are a lot easier to play:  easier to fret because of lighter strings and lower action.  And, you can dial up the volume a lot easier.  But . . . it doesn't necessairily mean you suddenly got a lot better.  If you go back to playing your acoustic . . . you'll see for yourself.  It depends on the sound you want . . . some songs just sound better acoustic, while others lend themselves more to electric.  I really envy the guys who play the acoustic guitar well.
