Topic: Arts and Lutherie....Amis

Anyone out there can give me some info on these guitars?? Would like to hear from some one who's actually played 1???

Re: Arts and Lutherie....Amis

Hey there! I have an Art Lutherie 12 string and it is pretty nice.  It is handmade in quebec and i paid 400 bucks canadian for it.  The only problem that i have seen is cosmetic.  I have seen a lot of the tops showing pick wear and scratches very very very easily.  Its obiviously the type of wood they use but that can be different from model to model.  I'd recomend one for sure!

Re: Arts and Lutherie....Amis

Having been let loose in a guitar shop for a few days I have had time to examine some of the stock and there are two Art & Lutherie acoustics on the wall. Made in Quibec, Canada, using 95% Canadian timber and with a satin finish, they appear to be well made. They are certainly set up fine from the factory and easy to play although like most guitars they would benefit from a little tweaking. A lovely tone and at a reasonable price, well worth a look.

I see you're still in the candy store Roger?

I used to be disgusted; now I try to be amused.
