Topic: My birthday

A Little explaination: My birthday is coming up on Saturday. Ill Be 26. Ive been thinking alot about my twin brother who died when we were 17. I just needed to write something to remember him . Its very personal but i feel like here on chordie the ones who really care about songwriting will over look that and take it for what its worth.

I think the last line was for my mom, and the one before that is about how i just drank so i wouldnt feel anything. I do A little finger picking riff with a capo on the 6th fret

My condolences to you for the loss of your brother and best wishes to you for your upcoming birthday. My baby sister has twin boys so I know a little about the bonds and unmatched- by- anything connection that comes with a twin sibling. You are honoring your brother superbly with your songwriting. Keep at it, your brother lives through you and your talent. I'd love to see you wtite a song to celebrate the 17 years you and your brother spent with each other, ya know? A tribute to all the good times..........

well written. this is on of those songs that can be felt, not just heard.
I'm sorry for your loss.
You've got a song about the pain, but have you got any dedications to your brother? Have you written any that you could look at it and say, that's the one  that is about me?

I read this song when it was first posted. I didnt comment because i could feel your pain to much. I want to shower you with understanding hugs.

We have twin girls in our family. One is gentle and quiet, the other we  call

they are so different but so close. So i can only try imagine how you feel.

You must cry and cry some more, talk about him and some more. You will have good days but the missing never goes. on your down days write for him.
