Topic: Grey Skies

Driving to work today the skies were a washed out grey and I started thinking about Willie Nelson’s Song,  Blue Skies and how for most of us regular folk it’s usually grey skies not blue, both in weather and in life. So that is where the idea comes from and I hope you all like it.

hi jets i don't know about grey skies it was black ones at midday to day we were like drownded rats for about 1/2hr.anyway good tune there jets...stay cool

My wife said that for such an optimistic guy you sure write a lot of sad or bluesy songs. I guess she's right but I just like the way sad stuff sounds...not sure why. Thanks for your comments.

I finished recording this song as well as a rerecording of Ayase Lullaby today. My friend, mentor and instructor, Mike Trella and I spend about 4 hours in his studio today getting it right. We spent much more than what I usually take but I think it was well worth it. Both songs are not quite finished yet they both sound great so far to me. Once I get them posted on my page I'll put the word out.
