Re: 12 STRING SONGS

ROCK SONGS?
If you look here on chordie, go to the Byrds, playing often with a 12 string guitar. This band is the first I can think of. It is also not too difficult to play their songs, and if you find, let's say 5 difficult songs, there might be a chance you can find them, under another name, the composer name, like Bob Dylan. They had n unique sound, because of the 12-string Rickenbacker. I am convinced (correct me if I'm wrong) that the Byrds influenced a lot of guitar players.
People like George Harisson, started playing a 12-string. I have a BURNS 2x6 (in stead of naming their guitar a 12-string). You create a particular sound, and only for your fingers: they will be a lot more painful than a 6-string, but I got the impression that a 12-string, because you have to push on 2 strings every single chord, is finally better for your fingers.
A good idea can be: google: 12-string bands, and you will detect more artists, not only from the "sixties" but also new bands too.
Hoe I could help.
The song: "turn, turn, turn" performed by the Byrds is written by Pete Seeger.
