Topic: another late night inspiration lol... title= 'the song you never read'

Once again it was about 11:30 and I was trying to get to sleep because I had to be up early for church, when out of the blue came another song.... so here it goes.

I think maybe it needs another verse, but I won't have time to work on it today, busy busy busy... any ideas or suggestions??

i thought cant win for losin was a good song but youve really out down yourself here, even though it could use another verse.

Hi Rebel,

A very good start to this one although I agree that it could do with an extra verse.

How about a verse reflecting that maybe if he had read the song and had the answers that things would be different.

Alternatively now he has gone and is so far away he never will have a chance to hear the answers he wanted.

Incidedntally I found, when playing it that I automatically put a C at the start of the second line of the chorus but that may be just be due the melody line that I put to your song.

Changed your name and cut your hair
it was 'all aboard' and 'full steam ahead'
leaving me to sing the song you never read....

okay its not polished up yet but thats kind of what im working with right now for the next verse...

This is one of those songs that could keep going.
So keep going...

If you're not happy with what you have...
