[A] kings of the night playing rock and roll

[E]the drums are thumpin’ and guitars roar

[D]The kids are dancing crying out for more

[E] keep on rocking all through the night

and[D] party til you see the morning [A] light

.

Chorus

.

[D] Oh, rock and roll, it’s the promised land,

[A]Where dreams take flight through a band

[D] attitude and rebel hearts so bold

[E] Yeah rock and roll, will [D] always move your [A] soul

[E] Yeah rock and roll, will [D] always move your [A] soul

[E] Yeah rock and roll, will [D] always move your [A] soul

[A] Cranking up the amps in the pale moonlight

[A] no chains, no rules, just pure delight

[D] the women are screamin’ “I luv You”

[A]like to lov'em all, ya know that’s true

[E]this is the place where wild times grow

[D] where beer and spirits freely flow

[E]So raise your glasses, raise 'em high

'cuz [D] rock 'n roll ain't never gonna [A]die

.

Chorus

.

[D] Oh, rock and roll, it’s the promised land,

[A]Where dreams take flight through a band

[D]attitude and rebel hearts so bold

[E] Yeah rock and roll, will [D] always move your [A] soul

[E] Yeah rock and roll, will [D] always move your [A] soul

[E] Yeah rock and roll, will [D] always move your [A] soul

Re: Rock N Roll Song

TIGLJK,  I could totally visualize that scene.   I would love to hear you play this or anyone else on here with an electric guitar to hear what it sounds like.   Nice one Jim.

Re: Rock N Roll Song

You have a knack of describing a scene, though I come from a small town I can imagine  it. Over here they'd call that a festival or rave, the difference being a rave is just boom, boom noise, flashing lights writhing bodies and copious amounts of narcotics. Will you or have you recorded it?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.
