Topic: BACK PACK GUITARS

I still regret buying 1 guitar, I was so euphoric at that time, and I buyed a Martin Backpacker.
Regretting is maybe a great word, but the shape is making it impossible to play it on your knee, see also flying V. Probably I was maybe better of with a baby taylor.
I need advise about the "baby guitars", like the taylor, is the sound great, can it compete with the bigger brothers. The only thing that makes the little martin attractive to play, is the fact you get a sound, in fact a kind of combination guitar, maybe some banjo, and it has definitely a distinguished sound, very, very, special, and putting a mic in front, even better. It is just the shape which makes it difficult to play.
Does someone has a few other baby guitars in mind?

Re: BACK PACK GUITARS

A friend has a backpacker Martin and I can't play it either...he has to use a strap to hold it in place and it's still awkward. I bought a Baby Taylor for my 6 year grandson and it's an awesome guitar...it can sorta embarass my full sized Martin at times...great volume and playability for a small guitar....
