{t: TOO YOUNG TO DIE THIS OLD }
{C:Blame this one on Russell !
He posted his awesome cover of too old to die young from the Django unchained movie.
I must have listened to it 50 times - it is soooooo good!!
Well then I went for a walk and was listening to it on my MP3 player and thought to myself --- if I turn the title around a bit - I think there's a song in there somewhere ! That was a few days ago. This morning I woke up at 5 am and thought about that revised wording of the title and this is what popped into my brain.... about a young alcoholic.
( Don't ask why - it just did ! )
Hope you like it . }
Too Young To Die All Alone
intro
[Em] All alone, I'm all alone,
[Am] All alone, all alone,
[B7] All alone, I'm all alone
gonna [Em]die forgotten , all alone
[Em]Ignored the warnings that I was given
Always, [Am]took the road of easy livin’
though I [B7] knew it was a dead end
and [Em] alcohol was my only friend
[Em] [Am] [B7] [Em]
[Em] family members seem to disappear
I [Am] drowned one more with every beer
[B7]No longer welcomed in my own home
I’m, [Em] bitter, broke, and all alone
[Em] [Am] [B7] [Em]
CHORUS
[Am]When did my life turn into this awful dream
[Em]How did I fall for the devil’s scheme
[AM]Why’d I let my heart turn so damn cold
[B7]I’m way too young to be this [Em]old
I’m [B7] way too young to die all [Em]alone
[Em]Time passes now , slower and slower
my [Am]mirror shows me older and older
[B7] good times are a thing of the past
I [Em]wonder if today is my last
CHORUS
[Am]When did my life turn into this awful dream
[Em]How did I fall for the devil’s scheme
[AM]Why’d I let my heart turn so damn cold
[B7]I’m way too young to be this [Em]old
I’m [B7] way too young to die all [Em]alone
I’m [B7] way too young to die all [Em]alone
I’m [B7] way too young to die all [Em]alone
