OMG!  You guys are too good to me!  BTW - there was actually some smoked pulled pork left over that went into the freezer from that gathering... I just pulled it out last week and mowed down on it.  It was just as good as the day we made it.  I am SO doing that AGAIN! 

Speaking of home baked cookies... if you're not in the US over the summer, then maybe UJB will have another PA gathering in the fall... I have to return to that one as well because he's holding a container of mine hostage until I return with more cookies!  big_smile

That weekend works for me. But I can be pretty flexible so if another date works for others I can make it work for me as well.

Yes I'm planning on another Chordie Pa. My brother asked me about it a few weeks ago. Like you, it's a little too far out to set a date but I'm looking at the first weekend in October which would be 9/30-10-2.

And I'm very proud of your cookie container. It has been up there all winter without any guards and it didn't try to make a run for it. smile

Yay!! The Fall!! I have a MUCH better chance of being around!! And would really LOVE it!! I notice it's kid-friendly... I'm hoping my daughter can come with me if I end up being able to have the opportunity to come!! smile

I know it's kind of strange to quote oneself but I couldn't find the original post where these videos were given to me so I am just "quoting" here.

I went through them all AND a few others including the "New Orleans" one--I really love this, you guys!! what a VERY fun group of extremely talented musicians--wow!! Kind of intimidating for sure!! 

Amy--your vocals are AMAZING!! smile smile  Power and really like your control you have!!  I'm seriously impressed!!

I felt that way when I first signed up too. . I only found the site because I went searching for the words to Billy Joel's Piano Man so I could settle a disagreement with someone. I poked around for a few weeks before I actually joined. It seemed like most of the regular posters were pro or at least semi-pro but it soon became apparent that all the folks around here were  regular people. A few just happen to make their living with music.  I met a few face to face last year and hope to meet a few more this year.
