Another beautiful day I slept away,   
Dreaming of you.
Yesterday, in the gloomy and grey, 
I spent hung over,    Missing you.

It should get better soon,
The Monday sun,    still out at noon
Still,   you will not get here to soon.

Continuing,   on our journey,
Forces us,   to take inventory,
To this I had to face a great fear.
Without my family near,
Loneliness abides and I need
to have you,   By my side.

WOW thanks guys!  My wife liked it a lot.  As anyone who has been married for a long time knows,, good times and bad times  gotta work through them,  that whole forcing  us to take inventory  was all about us over Christmas. things didn't look good for a while. but we got them sorted out.
