Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

nature is fabulously incredible.

Your vision is not limited by what your eye can see, but what your mind can imagine.
Make your life count, and the world will be a better place because you tried.

Re: Volcano

Amazing pics, Russell ... thanks for posting. In our day, we've become so accustomed to seeing realistic special effects from Hollywood, but none of that even compares with how dramatic these are. Wow!

Re: Volcano

That looks like freakin' Mordor.

Someday we'll win this thing...

Heh-Heh. I like it. By the way, I think he's Candian, so wouldn't it be Justin Biebrè? Just kidding. I just like misspelling his name! smile

Re: Volcano

I was reading the news and they have discovered a huge magma pool in Yellowstone park beneath one of the hot lakes the pocket of molten magma is so large it would fill the Grand Canyon 10 times the potential volcano is dormant at this time BUT if it ever erupted it would be a disaster, this coupled with all the fracking for oil in Oklahoma and surrounding areas that are causing two earthquakes a day could be catastrophic not good to mess with mother nature somethings are best left alone

I've read and seen on various science shows that Yellowstone blows about every 600,000 years. The last eruption was 640,000 years ago. Hmmmmmmmm.

Yes. An eruption now would be a world wide ecological disaster, potentially blocking sunlight from reaching the surface of the planet for months.

You thought it was cold this past winter? You ain't seen nothin' yet.

It aint the cold I am concerned about it is billions of tons of molten lava spewing out, enough to cover the entire mid west and all the states to the Mexican border the ash would block the sun for more then months all plant life would die and with it animals including us ELE extinction level  event.

Re: Volcano

Yep, Bieber's a Canadian ... as I now hang my head in shame. Whatever it is they call that performance style he works with, it most certainly isn't music.
