Topic: 0 For Life

So this idea came to me from a coworker mentioning to me how baseball terminology is used quite a bit in business. I'm not a big baseball fan but she said that in a phone conversation I had I had said that we needed to make sure we cover all the bases. I didn't think about it at the time but later it occurred to me that there were times that I heard other references to baseball like your batting a thousand...stuff like that. Anyway, the term "0 for" got into my head and I came up with a song and tried to give it a positive sort of swing (baseball again?) to it. So here it is...kind of sad music which I usually like to write with and I used a chorus of "Ohs" for the first time in my songwriting just to keep it fresh. Give it a strum and a hum around the bases and let me know what you think.

hope thats true.waiting seems a long time comming.but the words are spot on. thanks for the message on myspace too.oh and i will send that cd,not sure how long it will take to get to you.i will put a nice little cover on it too.

Nice tune Jets. I "Badeyed" it to a quicker tempo and find its a song of hope. I like it a lot. Great work.

Thanks Badeye - Yep, I know lots of folks are down on their luck and I just want them to keep on keeping on for that break that's going to come. I guess I'm hopelessly optimistic. I think because things worked out for me when they were quite tough for a while there.

Donna - I know you will get that break. You are just too good so keep plugging away. Just so you know you are a big reason I keep doing what I'm doing with my songwriting, recording, and hopefully soon playing somewhere soon as well too so please keep inspiring me!
