Song or Not

Gidday.
some of my stuff gets bumped over to poems
i spoke to two well known writers about songs/poems
the disagreed on what a song is.
any how.

Is art   art
or some thing else
it`s only one mans view
what may look good to me
may not look good to you
is a poem  a poem
or a song
it`s only one mans view
what sounds good to me
may not sound good to you
does a song need music
or does it need chords
even one or two
when i write it
it says song
even with out chords
cause i wrote it
i should know
but it`s only one mans view
