Topic: ?How2strumMyDingALing?song

Anybody know best strum pattern for "My Ding-a-ling" song?  Thx

Re: ?How2strumMyDingALing?song

I'm not sure, but if you listen to the beat of the bass of the song, just try strumming to that.  It usually works

do it by ear and then fake it!
its a novelty song, so ill bet not too many people are gonna be strictly versed in it.

Re: ?How2strumMyDingALing?song

1. Listen to the song.

2. Tap a rhythm with your right hand to it.

3. Pick up your guitar and convert that tapping unto an up and down movement across your strings.

4. You are now playing the song  smile

Re: ?How2strumMyDingALing?song

Thank-you all for the very useful ideas.   The song ( me ) is starting to sound better.  But...since I am a rank amateur, if any one has some very specific advice send it over. Thx

elazul chuck is pretty much just talking through it . go to the song here at chordie and check out the chords chose which ones you like the best and give them a try they are in chord and tab. I did it in the e style and liked it .  I do not think you will really need too much of a strum pattern.
