Topic: Trying to find the words and chords
I would really like to find the words and chords to "What Am I Living For" by Chuck Willis. I have looked at all the sites I know and can not find anything. Thanks for your help.

The song is in the key of Bb. To make playing it much easier, put a capo on fret 1 and play this:
Intro: A

What am I (A7) living... (D) you
Oh (A)nobody . . . . (E)nobody ... (A)do.
Repeat that progression over and over.
In the two bridges at 1:04 and 2:45 in the YouTube video above, the chords are:

If you don't want to use a capo but still want to play it in the original key, transpose all of the chords above +1.

Thanks beamer. I usually go to u-g dot com also, and I went there and did a search for Chuck Willis under "bands" and got no results. I see the version you found has "Chuck Willis" as part of the title, and the artist is "Misc. Unsigned Bands". I guess if I had done a broader search I would have found it.
The good news is that from what I can tell, the chords page you found matches what I said above.

If i remember correctly..didn't conway do this song in the early 60's..might check him in artest
