The last bit was as horific as I've ever seen.   The Seahawk wide out (Golden Tate) committed egregious pass interference and got away with it.  After pushing the Packer defender down, he went up in the air to catch the ball, but the Packer defender reached over him and intercepted it.  He came down with his hands on the ball, but the Packers had control over it.  The refs ruled it a TD anyway.

People should be mad over that call.  It was horrible.  My point is only that had the officials not complete sucked, that play would never had happened.

They gifted the Seahawks 7 points on the last play of the game, but they gifted the Packers 7 (six, they missed the 2 point conversion) earlier in the game, too.

Someday we'll win this thing...

I just saw it on espn,what a MESS! I really do not know the rules well enough too say which team is right,I have watched football all my life and I have never seen such a bunch of bad refs,I really hope the regular one's will be back,if not soon we will have fans and teams fighting like they do in soccer matches!!!!. There were too many ways this could have been called.I think this game will be talked about for a long time.

On the final play in the end zone, the Packers are right.   On the bogus pass interference at the beginning of the 4th quarter, the Seahawks are right.  Had the bogus PI call not happened, the Hail Mary at the end of the game wouldn't have happened, either.

One thing leads to another.

In the end, I think we will all agree that the replacement refs are an embarrassment and that they denied these two teams the chance to settle it on the field like they should have.

I heard there is some talk of the nfl and regular ref's are getting close too a deal,if not Fran Tarkenton was saying that the players should walk away from the football fields,this could very well happen,can anyone imagine how much money would be lost,I.E. advertisments,tickets,food,I could keep going but we all know it would kill the cheap one's holding back the money.

As a NC State Alum, I'm a huge fan of Russell Wilson. (And a long-time hater of the Packers). So I thought this was pretty damn funny!

Yup.  Seahawks drafted him in the third round after signing Packers backup Matt Flynn to a $20 million contract.  Wilson beat him out of the starting spot.

Thats a lot of money to hold a clipboard.

Ref,s and the nfl finally reached an agrement this morning,guess the nfl figured it would destroy this season and gave them what they wanted. They will be at the thur night game (tonight),I never am really happy too see them back. ( never thought I would say that ).

Good article russell I enjoyed it,besides the 49er's my dad always pulled and cheered the packers on,maybe that is why I like too think of them as my second choice team, after my 49er's.

That's going to be a tough game.  The 49ers are going to be really hot after getting beat by the Giants at home, and while the Seahawks defense is looking like a once in a generation squad, their offense still isn't firing right.   The passing game is terrible and opposing defenses are loading up the box to stop Lynch.

Green Bay punched Houston right in the grill.  Ouch!

Should be agood game thursday,I have seen your defenense and they are good,and your offense is getting better. Russell's pack beat the texans. I think it is time the 49ers started searching fir a better quarterback,and fix the kicker,he missed two yesterday,he has eally been off.
