Topic: Why does Chordie think I originate in the UK

I don't understand why Chordie thinks I'm from the UK and therefore will not allow me to put Beatle songs in  my songbooks. I have even re registered with a new name but it "finds out" i'm really from the UK. I was born and live in California. Please help. Thanks, Jonathan

Hi Johathan!  Welcome to the Forum!

There have recently been a few changes/updates made to the site and with it came some bugs/errors.  I apologize for the frustration.  A lot of updates were made overnight.  If you are still having this issue, please send an email to admin@chordie.com with as much detail as possible.  Thank you for helping in reporting issues so we can get them straightened out for everyone.  smile

The method for determining where Internet users originate from has changed with the update. Chordie is currently relying on data from http://wipmania.com/ to check the country of the user. Please use this site to figure out why you involuntary has moved to the UK.
