Topic: Standing in the Shadows of Motown

I just watched this again yesterday and what a great story it is. For those of you that don't know, The Funk Brothers (no brothers, but a large group of guys) were the studio musicians for Motown. As we know, most Motown artists back in the day were only singers. So the Funk Brothers played the music for so many top hits. Definitely a level of musicianship to aspire to. Too bad these guys didn't get more recognition. Hence the name "Standing in the Shadows of Motown".

I wouldn't mind watching that on e either.  I love movies about artists. Or musicians in this case.

It's been out for years. I watched it on cable so I'm sure it will be on again.
