This song is about how we can get caught up in our work life, and how the time goes by like we're wearing blinders. We end up losing years before we look up, and realize how much time has passed by, and how so much has changed, especially us.

hi jeff i've been living this for years,so many changes and we just carry on like they never happen,so many mates gone,some you never hear of again,but we're still there doing the same old job,great song.......stay cool

Thanks Robert and Dino - Yeah, It really comes back to me when i meet people again who I worked with in the past. It usually doesn't seem like it’s been that long but when you see how much they have changed you realize it has been a while. Makes you wonder how you look to them. I didn't mean the song to be sad, but I guess it is. I really meant it to get people to look up every now and then because work is just work. There is so much more going on that matter, more like family friends, and all the other things you like to do more.
